How to do everything.

You can sign up in under a minute with an email and password — no email confirmation step required.

1. Download Relook from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Tap Create account on the sign-in screen.
3. Enter your email and a password (minimum 8 characters).
4. You'll be guided through onboarding to set up your profile.

ID verification isn't required to buy, sell, or rent on Relook. Sellers get an automatic verified badge once they set up payouts (Stripe runs identity checks on the details you provide). Buyer-only accounts can optionally verify via document scan if they want access to listings restricted to verified renters — see the next article.

Identity verification on Relook is optional, but it unlocks higher-trust transactions. There are two paths to the verified ✓ badge:

• Sellers (automatic) — when you set up payouts in onboarding, Stripe checks the name, date of birth, and address you provide against government records and matches them to the bank account name. If everything lines up, your account is verified automatically. No document scan, no selfie. Most Australian sellers pass instantly.
• Buyers (optional) — buyer-only accounts can verify via document scan if they want to rent items from sellers who only accept verified renters. Powered by Stripe Identity, takes about 2 minutes.

To verify as a buyer:

1. Tap the person icon in the top right of any tab to open your profile.
2. Tap the gear icon in the top right corner to open Account Settings.
3. Tap Verify identity.
4. Choose either an Australian driver's licence or passport.
5. Take a photo of the document, then a quick selfie when prompted.
6. Submit. You'll get a notification within minutes when it's confirmed.

Your ID document and selfie are stored by Stripe under their privacy policy and are never shared with other users.

Your profile shows other users who they're dealing with — name, photo, location, and ratings (once you have transactions).

1. Tap the person icon in the top right to open your profile.
2. Tap the gear icon in the top right to open Account Settings.
3. Add your full name, a profile photo, a short bio, and your suburb.
4. Save.

A complete profile increases the chance buyers approve rental requests and trust your listings.

During onboarding you choose one of three paths:

• Buyer — set up a delivery address and you're ready to shop and rent. ID verification is optional and only needed if you want to rent listings restricted to verified renters.
• Seller — adds steps for pickup address, shipping defaults, and payouts. Once payouts are set up, you're automatically verified — no document scan needed.
• Both — runs through the full setup so you can buy, sell, and rent out items from one account. Same automatic verification as Seller.

You can switch later by completing the missing steps from Profile → gear icon (top right) → Account Settings.
